My lute guitar lacked a strap button so I ordered this set by Harley Benton.
After taking a first glance at them my impression was: 'Well, they could have done better'.
The buttons aren't polished, just raw milled and then electroplated.
Nonetheless: drill a hole, take a screwdriver and... don't use the screws shipped with the buttons, they seem to be a little weak and might break.
All in all, the strap button set is good when you just need working strap buttons.

I bought these strap pins for my daughter's Squire Tele. One of the originals had come off and been lost to the multidimensional vortex that is her room. They are well made, the right size and have a clean finish. I had to repair the old screw hole with some wood, sawdust and a little glue so that the screw fastened good. The other pin (which hadn't come off) I replaced as well because the Harleys seem to be a little better quality than the standard Squire issue. Both pins sit snug, hold a decent guitar strap well and are not to small to fit a rubber strap lock over. All in all better value than a cappuccino for the same price!
